What is a Vista Video?
Inspired by the glabrous hand-wavings of Barkers Beauties, a Vista Video is a moving panorama video made up of two sweeping shots that feature a model "revealing" the scene, edited together to form one groovy split-screen view of an interesting place. What is interesting is up to you. It can be a view of a miniature White House replica, the Grand Canyon, or a Ghost Town in Northern California. Whatever you think deserves more than a still picture.
Here is an example:
There are many ways to capture a Vista Video. I suggest having at least two people although you can have one model do the "showing" while you do the video work. Then you switch.
Here I am getting the footage.
Once you are done, put your footage in a video editing program, synch em up and wah-lah. Ok maybe you don't know how to edit - you can send your clips to me and I will do it for you and post on the Vista Vimeo Channel.
