Mock Life: A Documentary in Progress

Mock Life: Buddy Bernstein's Final Season

Buddy Bernstein is a professional lawyer who, for a three month season every year for 35 years, spent an extra 80 hours a week obsessively coaching a high school mock trial team. He’s marked this season as his last but how will he be able to say goodbye without a big win?

The project had a successful IndieGoGo Campaign to raise funds to film the state finals.  Watch the trailer here:

Mock LIfe is short documentary film that explores the comeptitive world of High School Mock Trial competition where the competition is the best: in the South.  The story focuses on the 35th and final season of the beloved coach of the multiple-championship award winning White Station High School Mock Trial Team.  The film will appeal to anyone that has been a teenager, had a tough teacher or coach, was part of a team, and who has ever wondered what it would be like to dedicate an entire life to just one thing.

Filming is now complete and the project is in post-production.
